Abstract

The magnetic properties of Y-Ho-Ba-Cu-O samples, which were prepared by the PMP method, have been investigated. The fishtail effect is found below 60K in Y0.6Ho0.4Ba2Cu3Oy, while it is absent in the Y0.8Ho0.2Ba2Cu3Oy sample until 30K. The origin of the fishtail effect in our sample is discussed.
