Abstract
P.R. China, as a developing country, is still lagging behind in customized design of industrial products. We present in this paper the findings of our exploration into fast customized design with modules that can be easily assembled. In the full paper, We report the findings of our exploration in much detail. Here we just list the four topics of our report; (1) fast customized design conceived as being accomplished on P.R. China's CAXA platform by a number of modules with each module having its particular function; (2) the relationships among modules; (3) the relationships between each module and P.R. China's CAXA platform; (4) feasibility of our proposed fast customized design as shown preliminarily by experiments. Our findings form a part of the work done under a project funded by the P.R.C. Ministry of Science and Technology, Industrial application of our proposed fast customized design looks promising but remains to be done.
