Equivalent circuit model for cross-shaped frequency selective surface absorbing material

Abstract

The equivalent circuit model is used to analyze the actual structure of the multilayer frequency selective surface absorbing. The transmission line model and equivalent impedance are provided for the transmissivity of electromagnetic waves. The results are validated by comparison with the Ansoft HFSS. In addition, the influences of different parameters are discussed. It is found that such a multilayer absorbing material has a good tenability and independence for the absorption frequency.This can be used to design absorbing material for different requirements.
