Abstract

The effects of different solution methods on aging properties of Cu-Cr-Zr-Mg alloy are studies. The grain size of rapid solidification was much smaller than solution treatments grain size. Strengthening of smaller grain size was obvious. Under 920°C, 1 h solution treatment and 550°C, 0.5 h aging condition, the hardness and electrical conductivity can reach 100 HV and 71%IACS respectively. On rapid solidification and the same aging condition, the hardness and electrical conductivity can reach 126 HV and 70% IACS respectively.
