Abstract

The effect of V-modification on the structure of LiCo_0.5Ni_0.5O₂ cathode materials is studied. We first prepared LiCo_0.5Ni_0.5O₂ by sol-gel method and modified it by V. The results show that with the increase of temperature and time of sintering the crystalline of LiCo_0.5Ni_0.5O₂ will optimize. The modified V can not enter the crystal lattice of LiCo_0.5Ni_0.5O₂ and exists in the form of Li₃VO₄, dispersing in the layered LiCo_0.5Ni_0.5O₂, and affecting the crystal phase of LiCo_0.5Ni_0.5O₂.
