Abstract
(1-x)(0.1BiYbO3-0.9PbTiO3) -xPbZrO3(BYPT-PZ) piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid state reaction. The effects of the content of PbZrO3 on the phase structure and electrical properties were investigated. The result revealed that the addition of PbZrO3 can suppress the generation of the pyrochlore phase effectively. There were two phases coexisting in the BYPT-PZ ceramics, one is the perovskite phase, the other is ZrO2 phase. With the increasing of PbZrO3, the dielectric constant of εr, the piezoelectric constant of d33 and the electric mechanism of kp increased, while the curie temperature of Tc, the mechanical quality factor of Qm and the dielectric loss of tanδ decreased. When the content of PbZrO3 was 0.45 mol, the performances of the material were optimum. The piezoelectric costant (d33), Curie temperature (TC), dielelctric constant (εr), electric mechanism (kp), the remnant polarization (Pr) and the coercive field (Ec) could be 223 pC/N, 390°C, 1265, 0.42, 20 μC/cm2 and 2.4 kV/mm respectively.
