Abstract

The effect of exit-guide-vane circumferential layout to upstream flow field has been investigated by numerical approach in which a high resolution non-oscillatory scheme coupled with LU-SGS method is used. The results show that the circumferential layout of exit-guide-vane can affect the pressure distortion in upstream area effectively. The maximum pressure distortion in the inlet surface increases with the stator moving to the right then has decreasing tendency. The flow field parameter distribution can be affected more in upper stream, especially near the leading edge area while the mach number distribution of the upstream blade surface is affected little.
