Abstract
Rubber ring is a common vibration isolator used in the power system of underwater vehicle. It can effectively isolate mechanical vibration and reduce sound radiation. Autonomous underwater gliders (AUGs) are new type of underwater glider, using the rubber ring to isolate the vibration and protecting the measuring system. Firstly, the rubber ring isolator model is established based on the finite element method. The Mooney Rivlin hyperelastic model is used as the material model to calculate the dynamic stiffness characteristics of rubber ring isolator with different design parameters. Then the single degree freedom vibration isolation system model of the power system of the AUG is established to calculate the vibration transfer rate. The results show that the dynamic stiffness is the main design parameter of the vibration isolation system, which influenced by the material and geometrical parameters. The dynamic stiffness of the rubber ring isolator changes nonlinearly with the frequency. The simulation results provide a reference for the parameter design and vibration isolation evaluation of the rubber ring isolator.
