Abstract

An eight degrees of freedom automobile dynamical model was presented, which included the structure parameters and physics parameters for the comfort matching study. A road white noise simulation method based on the power function was adopted and the state equation for road input simulation was given. An evolvement method for several degrees of freedom automobile comfort models was put forward for the need of different automobile comfort design studies. The simulation tests of the longitudinal angle acceleration of the automobile and vertical acceleration of the passenger were carried out using the variable parameters analysis method in frequency domain and time domain respectively. The test results give the basic relation between design parameters and comfort performances and the next task is to carry through the parameter sensitivity analysis and the matching of automobile comfort with several design variables.
