Abstract

On the basis of a kinetic model proposed by Todivont [M.T. Todivont, Acta Mater. 44 (1996) 4697], deviations from the classical Johnson-Mehl-Avrami (JMA) kinetics, i.e. due to increased extended volume, was described. It was concluded that, the increased extended volume corresponds to the increased growth exponent.
