Design optimization of solid motor grains

Abstract

Orthogonal test method was applied to design optimization of three dimensional grains of solid motors. It was proved that this method is very effective according to the calculation results. In the optimization model, the general coordinates method was chose to compute burning area of grain which makes this optimization method universal.
