Abstract
To improve the transient performance of multivariable variable structure control systems and the robustness of the reaching intervals, a global sliding-model variable structure control approach for MIMO system is proposed in this paper. The ap proach elirninnates the reaching intervals, thus the system robustness is guaranteed during whole intervals of control action. Furthermore, the control signal have small values.
