Abstract

This paper proposes a hybrid communication model of publish/subscribe and point-to-point, which are the main communication models of current messaging middleware, then designs and implements a hybrid communication model based messaging middleware (HCM³). The performance results of HCM³ show that it can possess the advantages of the two models. It can deliver messages with the features of high efficiency, flexibility and reliability.
