Abstract

As the core bridge between the embedded Real-time Operating System (RTOS) and applications, communication middleware realizes software and hardware decoupling and component interoperability through standardized interfaces, which is a key technology supporting the evolution of 'softwaredefined aircraft'. Existing research focuses on collaborative simulation communication optimization, fault tolerance mechanism and lightweight design, and lacks a dedicated architecture that strictly follows the Data Distribution Service (DDS) specifications, resulting in limited cross-platform portability and interoperability. In response to the above problems, this study proposes an innovative communication middleware architecture based on the international OMG DDS standard (Version 1.4), which is specially designed for aircraft embedded RTOS environment. Experimental verification shows that this architecture has strong stability in a typical aircraft embedded platform (SliyxOS/Linux), end-to-end communication latency <20 μ s, and supports 10 MB/ms data transmission. This study provides a high-performance communication infrastructure for software-defined aircraft that meets international standards.
