Abstract

Aiming at metal matrix coarse particle reinforced composite block, adopting qualitative and quantitative analysis method, four evaluation indicators of mixing degree, partial agglomeration degree, dispersion rate and combination rate were put forward to characterize quantitatively the uniform degree of particle distribution, the particles segregation in the matrix and the binding of particle and matrix. The high chromium cast iron matrix of ZTA coarse particles reinforced wear-resistant composite block was characterized by the proposed evaluation indicators. The results show that these indicators can describe the compound effect of metal matrix coarse particle reinforced composites accurately.
