Cold extruding technology of outer wear and spherical core of hydraulic tube joint for mine use

Abstract

In this paper, we mainly studied manufacture technique of outer wear and taper core of mine using hydraulic pressure adapter in which cold extrusion forming technique was adopted. Compared with the conventional forming technique, utilization ratio of cold extrusion forming technique enhanced 41.2% (outer wear) and 100% (taper core). After cold extrusion, rigidity of the taper core and the outer wear were improved 52.3% and 75.2%, respectively. Moreover, intention of the taper core and the outer wear were enhanced 10% and 78%, respectively. So, using new designed taper core's cold extruding die to produce the part was successful. All the above results of study will bring an instructional significance in the manufacture process.
