Abstract

A series of AlCoCrFeNiTix high entropy alloys were fabricated, and their phase and microstructure were investigated. The characterization of body-centered cubic (BCC) phases in XRD pattern was studied. Results indicate that the BCC phases in AlCoCrFeNiTix high entropy alloys are characterized as Fe-Cr and AlNi phases separately. The lattice parameters calculated from the selected area diffraction patterns of Fe-Cr rich phase and Al-Ni-Ti rich phase agree well with those determined in the XRD pattern. With the increase of the content of Ti element, the single BCC peak transforms into BCC1 and BCC2 peaks.
