Abstract
In order to analyse the performance of supersonic inlet, one-dimensional aerodynamic analysis and three-dimensional numerical simulation are used. The results show that expansion in width cannot be neglected. Expansion in width can lead to the increase of inlet throat Mach number, which results in the decrease of inlet total pressure recovery and flow capture efficient.
