Abstract

The authors found that:(1) magnetic fluctuation depends mainly on the coefficient of arc and the number of slots per pole, (2) current fluctuation of efficient conductor depends mainly on the position of brush and on the ratio between the width of brush and that of the commutator bar. The author also make the following assumption: during the rotation of servomotor, both applied voltage and voltage drop of brush are constant. Taking product A as an example, formulas for computing current fluctuation of efficient conductor are derived. Besides, the authors' previous paper is used to compute magnetic fluctuation. Finally, the torque fluctuation for low speed of product A is computed; it is 1.87%, which is considered by the manufacturer of product A to agree quite well with an actual 1.9%.
