Abstract
According to the principle and calculation method of Stokes images in imaging polarization detection, the shortcomings of traditional methods in preserving detail information and dealing with the shifting of source images was analyzed, and a new calculation method was proposed based on shift invariant wavelet. To meet the request of speed and time, lifting scheme was used to perform wavelet transformation. And the mutual information and conditional entropy were used to judge the performance of calculation method. Through simulation results and evaluation index, the quality of Stokes images and the sensitivity on shifting of source image are improved by this paper's method.
