Abstract

The target reconnaissance vehicles are widely used in battlefields disaster areas and so on. In order to solve the problem that the operator is hard to manipulate the onboard camera to search for the target timely when both hands are occupied by the joystick, we proposed a brain computer integrated scheme to control the camera at the same time. A total of seven brain-controlled instruction set (four-class visual stimuli, two-class event imagery, and eye blinking) are utilized to achieve the control of the rotation and zoom of the camera. The online experiment achieved 90% of the mission completion rate. It demonstrated that the scheme provides a new control way without changing the original hands control, and furthermore liberated the complexity of both hands control for operators.
