Abstract

Pareto method is a multi-objective optimization method, by which, the optimum set corresponding to all kinds of the weight assignment can be obtained. Pareto GAs, which combines Pareto method and Genetic Algorithms, is an effective method to generate a set of solutions on a Pareto front. In this paper, two common Pareto GAs, MOGA (Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm) and Two-Branch Tournament Genetic Algorithm are applied to aerodynamic configuration design. The aerodynamic optimization design is carried out for the two examples and satisfying solutions are achieved.
