Abstract
According to the progress up to now on panel flutter of high speed vehicles, six types of analytical models for panel flutter are reviewed and the classification principle is also proposed in detail based on the corresponding structure and aerodynamics theories. The effects due to temperature, yawed angle of flow, geometry of the panel and boundary conditions on the performance of panel flutter are revealed. To solve panel flutter equations, the time domain and frequency domain approaches are often adopted, whose advantages and disadvantages are discussed. And the further topics in this field are presented finally.
