Abstract
Aircraft control system transferring the pilot's manipulation instructions can guarantee the task success. The clearance is inevitably existed in the actual aircraft control system due to the manufacturing, assembly and other factors. The clearance between the transmission mechanism would affect the precision and efficiency of control system, thereby affecting the flight quality. In order to study the influence of clearance on the aircraft control system, nonlinear contact model of clearance is established though the modified Coulomb friction model to describe the friction effect of clearance. Based on the model, the differential equation describing the aircraft control system effected by clearance is derived, and is simulated in the Matlab/Simulink platform. The simulation results are verified by the experiments, and the model built here can analysis the influence law of clearance of aircraft control system, on that basis, to study the influence of a single clearance on dynamic characteristics of the aircraft control system, and compare the same clearance affecting differences in different locations, thereby guiding the optimal design of aircraft control system.
