Analysis and implementation of FMLMS algorithm in AANC

Although FLMS algorithm is widely used in Adaptive Active Noise Control (AANC) system due to its simplicity, its application is limited because it is intensively sensitive to the disperse of the eigenvalues of the self-correlation matrix of input-signal vector. The FMLMS algorithm proposed in this paper includes a momentum term to the FLMS algorithm. From the theoretical analysis, the computer simulations and the experimental results in a half-anechoic room, it is shown that the FMLMS algorithm has more advantages than FLMS in single-path AANC system.
