Abstract

A stored procedure is a set of SQL commands that has been compiled and stored on the database server. It is database object which often used in database management system and has characteristics of modularity, high efficiency, secure for access, reducing network traffic and CPU load. This paper analyzes the design of the common stored procedures and introduces a specific application of stored procedures in an online monitor system for key pollution source according to its characteristics.
