Abstract

The progress of controlled/living cationic polymerization including several novel initiating systems such as metallocenes, water-soluble Lewis acids and alkylaluminiums were introduced. The applications of nucleophile, precipitation equilibrium and ";cationic pool"; technique in controlled chain propagation were summarized.
