Abstract

Aiming at the problem of poor Doppler positioning accuracy of non-cooperative LEO satellite opportunity signals, this paper proposes a Doppler Positioning Method Based on Trust Region Reflectometry (DMTR). The core of this method is to use the quadratic approximation model in the trust region to replace the Doppler frequency shift residuals, and then iteratively update the trust region radius and step size to achieve positioning. This method breaks through the limitation of the traditional method, which has poor positioning effect at poor initial points and constellation configurations. In Iridium-Next satellite positioning, the DMTR method improves the positioning accuracy and robustness compared with the existing Doppler shift positioning methods.
