Abstract

A shooting and bouncing ray (SBR) method for anisotropic material is presented in this paper. The SBR technique describes the multi-reflection of electromagnetic rays on the target. The reflection coefficients of the anisotropic material are calculated by the generalized transmitting matrix (GTM) method. The present algorithm is able to calculating the radar cross section (RCS) of arbitrary target coated with anisotropic material. Numerical results show the good accuracy of the proposed method.
