Abstract

A novel circularly polarized open-end waveguide antenna is studied. The size of hexagonal radiating cavity is adjusted for achieving good axial ratio characteristics of the new antenna at the boresight. The frequency band is about 20% when s11 is less than -10dB. The axial ratio is better than 2dB over the frequency band.
