Abstract

Section 1 of the full paper briefs FCM(Fuzzy C-Means) algorithm. Sections 2 and 3 explain in some detail our multi-target cluster attack algorithm using improved FCM algorithm. Subsection 2.2 gives a 9-step procedure that is a necessary preparation for making attack assignments in air combat between 16-fighter groups. Subsection 3.1 explains threat calculations for each target colony. Section 4, based on what have been explained in sections 2 and 3, finally explains making attack assignments. Section 5 presents the simulation results, given in Tables 3 through 6; using the simulation results, subsection 5.2 makes attack assignments as shown in Table 7; thus Tables 3 through 7 indicate preliminarily that our multi-target cluster attack algorithm using improved FCM algorithm is reasonable and effective.
