Abstract

In this paper, a dynamic programming (DP) framework for the implementation of track-before-detect (TBD) in multisensor systems is presented. The proposed framework is composed of a pre-processing procedure and a DP-TBD processor. A novel form of equivalent measurements is employed in pre-processing stage which effectively fuses measurements from different sensors, leading to the reduction of computational cost. Numerical examples demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can take advantage of the information from multiple sensors and therefore obtain better performance.
