A chattering avoidance sliding mode control for PMSM drive

Abstract

This paper mainly deals with a high order sliding mode controller for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). This kind of approach eliminates the chattering phenomenon essentially by comparing with traditional sliding mode control. The simulation and experiment results indicate that effect of synchronous motor chattering problem is avoided.
