N2 - With the rapid development of air-to-air missile and avionics technology, beyond visual range air combat has become the major form of fighting. As an important role in autonomous decision making and situation awareness, threat assessment in BVR air combat has attracted great interest. However, due to the lack of intention and event threat factors, the traditional model does not fully consider the threat of air combat, which leads threat assessment results inaccurate. Therefore, this paper proposes a BVR integrated threat assessment method for air combat introducing target intention and event. Firstly, the event characteristics of BVR air combat are analyzed, and the threat assessment function of events is constructed. Then, the BVR air combat threat assessment model is established based on target intention, event, situation, and capability threat. On this basis, combined with the characteristics of BVR air combat, missile event correction factor is proposed to modify the threat value of missile events. And comprehensive index method is used to evaluate the target air combat capability. Finally, we use the grey relevance analysis algorithm to verify the effectiveness of the BVR air combat threat assessment method proposed in this paper. The result shows that compared with traditional models, this model can comprehensively utilize battlefield situation information. And the target threat assessment results are more accurate and reliable.
