Abstract
The manufacturing process of aluminum alloy large ring forgings for heavy-duty rockets was introduced, the manufacturing process of radial and axial CNC rolling ring forgings was mainly analyzed. The manufacturing process of rolling and bulging for large ring forgings was proposed. The rolling and bulging process of Φ10 and Φ1. 2 m ring forgings was simulated using finite element, and the rolling and bulging process of Φ1. 2 m ring forgings was experimentally verified. The results show that the rolling and bulging technology can effectively improve the product structure, make the structure denser, and increase the grain size of the product. The rolling and bulging technology can effectively improve the yield strength of products, thereby improve the service performance. The bulging process has a significant shaping effect on the product. On this basis, the radial and axial CNC rolling process and hydraulic bulge forming for Φ10 m ring forgings was proposed.
