Abstract

The configuration of space multi-tethered formation is classified, the research status of dynamic model of tether formation is analyzed, and three kinds of tether formation dynamic model are summarized. In addition, the whole process of tethered formation task, including formation shaping, formation keeping and rigid body attitude maneuver control, is reviewed and analyzed, and the existing ground-based experimental setups are summarized. In the end, the shortcomings of dynamic modeling and control of tethered formation and the research of ground-based experiments are summarized, and the future development direction is proposed.
