Abstract
For ethylene-propylene-diene rubber(EPDM) buffers used in airport ground service vehicles, hyperelastic constitutive model fitting analyses were conducted using the Yeoh,Mooney–Rivlin and Ogden models. The second-order Ogden model(N=2)was selected for the compression test and simulation analysis of EPDM buffers. The results showed that, the second-order Ogden model provided the best fitting effect for the stress-strain performance of EPDM materials, and the compression load-displacement simulation curves of EPDM buffers were almost consistent with the experimental curves, verifying the validity of both the selected constitutive model and the simulation analysis.
