Abstract

The recent achievements of failed spacecraft contactless detumbling are reviewed,and the characteristics of contactless detumbling are summarized,the characteristics of non-contact racemization are summarized,and the system dynamics model,racemization methods and key technologies are focused. The existing contactless detumbling schemes are divided into electromagnetic and impact methods based on their action principles for the first time,as well as their characteristics and applicable scenarios are analyzed respectively. According to the practical requirements of on-orbit detumbling operation,the key technologies of high-performance calculation,guidance and control are analyzed. Finally,four open issues and research suggestions for contactless detumbling technology are provided to cope with the challenges of complex space missions and intelligent detumbling operations. It is expected to provide reference for the development of failed spacecraft maintenance and contactless detumbling in the future.
